Program Manager – Asia Representing a global organisation with a mission to end modern slavery in our generation by mobilising a global activist movement, generating the highest quality research, enlisting business and raising unprecedented levels of capital to drive change in those countries and industries bearing the greatest responsibility for slavery today.A wonderful opportunity now exists to join the Perth based team in an exciting role with travel!The role involves the following:Design approach and timeline for carrying out Asia country studies and country strategy developmentDevelop and execute research framework and methodology, ensuring high quality, consistent research outcomes across the different countriesWork closely with Research teams to ensure the country studies are capturing the actionable data required, methodology is fit for purpose, and results are relevant and reliableUse country study results as evidence base for development of country strategies, reflecting effectiveness of anti-slavery interventions and other relevant considerationsTo be successful, it is essential that you have experience living and working in Asia, ideally in one or more of the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Thailand. We are looking for someone with relevant language skills, experience working within the social impact/ development field. Previous exposure to modern slavery would be highly regarded.We are looking for demonstrated experience and expertise in developing and delivering complex research methodology. This role requires a person with strong project management skills, including capacity to manage people across different countries.Willingness to travel up to 30% of the year for project management purposes and strong written and verbal communication is an essential component of this position.An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
